STROUD WATER RESEARCH CENTER

2009 | Avondale, PA

As a consultant to M2 Architecture, Re:Vision facilitated and provided design support for a multi-day interdisciplinary design charrette to develop the conceptual building design and site master plan for The Moorhead Environmental Center, an environmental complex housing research, administration, and education.  Through the process, the Stroud staff and community elevated a key goal of “Getting the Water Right.”  The final LEED-Platinum certified project is well-grounded in the concepts generated at the charrette, including making the ‘water cycle’ more sustainable for the entire campus through innovations such as hard-working constructed wetlands.
