Over nearly two decades of professional experience, Joe has excelled at being a voice for making sustainability a priority on all types of projects varying from single-family residential to multi-family apartments and food service establishments to full farms. Beginning with his academic research on greenhouse gas emissions in agriculture and the commercial food industry supply chain, Joe has focused his career on sustainability not only in the end built product but throughout projects’ lifecycles – from cradle to grave.

In addition to his professional work, Joe is active in the community as a co-facilitator for Green Building United’s Living Future Community. Here he works with a committed group of industry professionals to advocate for Living Building Challenge philosophy and projects in the AEC community.
