Re:Vision worked closely with the Energy Coordinating Agency to transform a dilapidated warehouse into a training center for local contractors to learn technologies and building strategies for energy conservation. In addition to classrooms and meeting spaces, the project includes a hands-on demonstration center where students learn to conduct energy audits and weatherization, as well as important aspects of green building including: daylight harvesting, rain water harvesting, building re-use, and renewable energy use. What makes this project significant is the resourceful re-use of a former industrial building and achievement of high-performance on a shoestring budget. The successful design and construction of this project followed a collaborative master planning process also completed by Re:Vision. LEED Gold CI
