Covering more than 1200 acres at the southern tip of Philadelphia, the Philadelphia Naval Business Center (PNBC) is a brownfield site that is being redeveloped as a mixed-use, master-planned business campus. One Crescent Drive was the first anchor office building planned for PNBC has set the bar for future projects with a platinum-level LEED-Core & Shell certification. The sustainable strategies range from quite visible (such as the abundant daylight) to behind-the scenes (such as use of fly-ash in concrete to reduce CO2 emissions).
