As a consultant to Designworks Architecture, Re:Vision facilitated and provided design support for a multi-day design charrette to develop the conceptual building design and site master plan for The 2nd Street Learning Center a 24-hour daycare and technology center for low-income families. Project staff and donors worked side by side with architects, engineers and contractors to develop the plan for the project which was a dramatic departure from original land planning drawings which showed a detached two-story structure. The built work faithfully represents the core building concept of a one-story attached facility wrapping a central courtyard. The concept was designed for safety, daylight, cost-effectiveness, and beauty.  Re:Vision continued as a sustainability consultant on the project through final LEED certification.
