The Lucy School’s innovative curriculum is complemented by its exceptional, 8,700sf building. Where school programming integrates the exploration of nature into the curriculum, the building’s energy efficiency and smart product choices help preserve that nature for future generations of students. Teachers take pride in regularly teaching their students outdoors. When they do need to teach inside, the acoustics, indoor air quality, and great lighting ensure that they can do their job well. The project achieved one of the first LEED for Schools Platinum certifications in the country.
