Re:Vision worked with Lancaster County Conservancy to generate the master plan for a Urban Forestry Center to house the Conservancy’s Headquarters and connect people with nature through a network of trails, streams, natural areas and outdoor/indoor facilities. The 30,000 sf building cluster will restore and re-purpose 19th century historic buildings on the site as well as create new buildings that support needed educational, scientific, event, and office uses. LCC is committed to the most progressive building standards such as the Living Building Challenge and LEED Platinum Certification. The project began with a 5 day green design charrette that included the projects stakeholders and community members. Master planning work was completed with DCNR funding and was received by DCNR as an outstanding set of deliverables.
