Passive House Design, Consulting, Verification
Passive House combines ultra-low-energy usage with high indoor air quality to dramatically improve a building’s energy performance, thermal comfort, acoustic comfort, and occupant health. Re:Vision has worked on over 25 Passive House projects in both the national (Phius) and international (iPHI) systems since 2015 that range from single family, affordable and market rate multifamily, to commercial/educational, and dormitory building types.
Re:Vision works with Passive House standards as:
- PH Designers — Re:Vision designs homes and commercial buildings to Passive House standards.
- PH Consultants —Re:Vision supports other teams in achieving Passive House certification through design consulting, WUFI energy modeling, thermal bridge analysis, detailing reviews, and administrative coordination.
- PH Verifiers and Raters — To confirm compliance with PHIUS+ standards, Re:Vision provides: pre-construction drawing reviews; on-site inspections and verification testing; REM/Rate energy modeling; documentation for Energy Star, Zero Energy Ready Home, and Indoor airPLUS.
